Directions

FROM NORTH AND MIDLANDS

From M5 take J11 for Gloucester (A40). After 7 miles, turn left onto A48 (Chepstow). After 13 miles, you will reach Blakeney.  After you leave the village, at the top of the hill, turn right at the Nibley crossroads juction, signposted Yorkley. After 2 miles you will enter Yorkley village. (see below)

FROM SOUTH EAST AND SOUTH WEST

Using M4 cross on the old Severn Bridge take M48/A48 to Chepstow. DON'T TAKE THE M4 NEW SEVERN BRIDGE WHICH IS SIGNPOSTED FOR SOUTH WALES. Continue on the A48 through Chepstow. After 10 miles, turn left into Lydney. Continue through the town and just past the Original Factory Shop take the left turn signposted Yorkley. After 3 miles you will enter Yorkley village. FROM HEREFORD/ROSS ON WYE

Follow the B4234 through Lydbrook to Parkend. Continue towards Lydney and opposite the Fountain Inn turn left for Yorkley, crossing the Forest of Dean railway line. After 2 miles you will enter Yorkley village. (see below)

ON REACHING THE VILLAGE OF YORKLEY

You will find the Bailey Inn public house. Proceed down Stag Hill (immediately to the right as you face the Bailey Inn) past the TI/Post Office. At the bottom turn left into Lower Road and SILVERDEANE is on your left.
